About FES

Education and knowledge shape the progress of mankind. The human mind is inquisitive. From a very young age, it starts questioning and understanding the world around it. It is this insatiable hunger to know more that has enabled the human race to progress in leaps and bounds and achieve new heights.
 
Change is the only constant in this world. The pace of change has become even faster in the 21st century as a result of cascading impact of the transformation; that has happened in technology and its resulting impact on social and cultural fabric which is at the core of human existence! Some of these changes will be disruptive… and the key question is whether the current education system which was developed to take care of requirements of the last century (where outcomes were certain and predictable) can develop our children to take on challenges of the 21st century.
 
It is with this solitary pursuit of ensuring that our education system is equipped to prepare our children for their world of 21st century, that we have incubated this platform - ‘Future of Education Summit 2011’ (FES2011). We are bringing global thought leaders along with the policy makers in India under one roof on 14 November 2011, in New Delhi, India to discuss the way ahead for ‘Future of Education in India’. Representatives of students, academia, industry and government will together envision this future of education. This national level initiative will enable us to take a higher ground for the cause of education in this country. All our schools and principals can leverage this opportunity to be associated with this televised event on Zee News.

This small step from MLZS will be a giant leap for having a new beginning for creating leaders of the 21st century in India! In addition to the summit, there will be on ground Inter School activities held at each MLZS. These activities will be a linked opportunity to display our leadership in the way we ‘think differently’ towards the overall development of children by imparting developmental opportunities on knowledge, values and life skills. MLZS’ media partner Zee News will cover and telecast most of these activities.
