
Arrah (SMB): The achievements of the students of Mount Litera Zee School, Bampali, in the field of art were recently highlighted. It was informed that the “Waves of Art – Decorative Art Competition” was organised by the Bay of Bengal Inter-Governmental Organisation (BOBP-IGO) on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2024.
In this competition, the students of the school represented India along with participants from other countries including the Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. The Director of BOBP-IGO appreciated the creativity of the students and praised the beautiful and powerful messages conveyed through their artworks. Certificates were also awarded to the students in recognition of their efforts.
At the BOBP-IGO publication office, Dr. S. S. Rajarajan reviewed several artworks, selecting 24 in total — among which multiple entries were from Mount Litera Zee School, Bampali. Of these, eight students from the school were chosen, and one of their artworks will be published in the BOBP-IGO 2025 calendar.
The selected students include Mannat Srivastava, Pravi Singh, Kiyaara, Khushi Kumari, Deeksha Kumari, Ankita Singh, Ananya Rai, and Aditi Gupta. Competing at the international level under the theme “Women”, the students showcased their creativity through decorative art, reflecting their artistic understanding and innovative approach.
The School Director, Shreyansh Singh, extended his congratulations and expressed pride in their achievement. Vice Principal Shilpi Singh, Headmistress Meryl, Principal Umesh Bawe, along with all teachers and students, also congratulated the winners.
