What are the requirements for starting a school?
Franchise fee: ?60 Lakhs
Owned/Leased land: 1.5 to 5 acres
Who will take care of legal approvals?
We will provide guidance and act as your consultant for you to make sense of the legal approvals. The onus of execution and completing the formalities will be on the business partner
What is the process of getting CBSE affiliation?
We will guide the Business Partner through the entire affiliation procedure by providing necessary knowhow, guidelines and consultancy. The only thing the Business Partner needs to do is to abide by our prescribed norms and take care of the final execution.
What is the procedure to form a trust?
We will guide the Business Partner how to form a trust after they sign the Franchisee Agreement with us. We will give them guidance on the trust composition and other various aspects of trust formation. The end execution of the formation of the Trust has to be done by the BP through his attorney
What are the approvals and documents required to start a proposed CBSE-affiliated school?
To start a CBSE-affiliated school, the following approvals and documents are required:
1) Society or Trust registration papers
2) Land ownership documents or lease deed
3) Before starting the school, the following mandatory certificates are required:
Building safety, fire safety, land certificate, teachers details, utility bills, library, lab, books, and equipment records
4) To start school operations, the following steps must be completed:
a) Obtain State Board recognition
b) Make the required online payments
c) Get BSA (Basic Shiksha Adhikari) recognition
d) Apply for a UDISE code
e) File for the No Objection Certificate (NOC) with the Joint Director of Education
5) No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the State Government
6) Compliance with CBSE affiliation by-laws
What is Zee Learn's role? What support does Zee Learn offer?
Zee Learn will provide end to end consultancy in setting up and operationalsing the school. The support spans from Trust Formation to Operationalising and capacity planning for the school. The important area where Zee learn will support the business partner are:
providing week by week project implementation plan, layout plan of the school, rolling out academic calendar, procurement of necessary classroom and lab equipments, recruitment of principal and teaching manpower, consultancy on all legal formalities and CBSE affiliation, Training to Principal and Teachers and councellors, Academic content, financial planning, overall school management, Brand management and marketing, Parents interactions, academic evaluation and content upgradation, setting up of school management committee, making lesson plans, Operationalising and capacity planning.
Will Zee Learn manage the school?
Zee Learn will not manage the school on the business partners behalf. The school will be run by the Business Partner. Zee Learn will give the necessary guidance in delivering the content and maintaining the quality in a seamless manner
When will the project break even?
This will depend on the location of the school.
What are the expenses other than the building and furniture?
Other than building and furnitures, other expenses are manpower, marketing, transportation, franchisee fees, royalty, necessary legal duties and fees & administrative costs.
